Tunisia: STEG Launches Three International Calls for Tenders

The Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company (STEG) has launched three international calls for tenders under the development of the electricity transmission network. The details are provided in the following table:

The design, manufacture, factory tests, supply, civil engineering, field transport, assembly, testing and commissioning of HV underground cable links (90KV, 150KV and 225KV) included in a single batch. |
E-4009 |
17 October |
The design, manufacture, factory tests, supply, civil engineering, field transport, assembly, testing and commissioning of HV shielded substations (GIS), HV/MV mobile substations and HV power transformers in three separate batches. |
E-4021 |
11 September 2019 |
The equipment and construction of HV overhead lines and conventional HV substations extensions for the connection of PV power plants to be built under concession regime at Metbassta, Mazzouna 2, Sagdoud, Touzeur 2 and the Sfax seawater desalination plant. |
Please note that the calls for tenders E-4001 and E-4009 will be financed by an AfDB loan and the call for tender E-4021 will be financed by the awarded developers who will build the PV power plants under the concession regime.
