Zambia: Zambia opens prequalification for Small Hydro Tender - Round II
In line with the REFIT strategy, we understand that the Ministry of Energy of Zambia represented by KfW, Germany’s development bank, is inviting interested parties to pre-register for the prequalification procedure which will be followed by three successive requests for proposals (RFPs) between 2019 and 2020 as part of Round 2 of the 100 MW GET FIT Zambia Small Hydro tender.
The tender will support the development of individual projects of up to 20 MW individual maximum installed capacity.
If you would like to receive further details on the pre-registration application process please email a member of our team listed below.
The Prequalification (PQ) documentation will be made available on the data room on 7 January 2019, following which, interested parties may still pre-register until 6 February and access the PQ documentation.
If you would like to discuss the above, or any other clean energy opportunities in Zambia or the wider Africa energy market, please contact a member of our team listed below.
