The new Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act makes some significant changes to UK insolvency law by introducing new permanent options aimed at allowing companies some breathing space to avoid insolvency and some temporary restrictions aimed at reducing the number of insolvencies following the coronavirus pandemic.

In our podcast David Gray, Charlotte Cartwright, Eve England and Andrew Todd discuss how the new Act impacts the supply of essential goods and services, pensions schemes and the relationship of commercial landlord and tenant.
