WirtschaftsWoche names Eversheds Sutherland again as top legal practice for labour and employment and corporate law

The German business magazine WirtschaftsWoche has named four Partners of the international legal practice Eversheds Sutherland as top lawyers. In addition, the legal practice has been named again as top legal practice for labour and employment law as well as for corporate law. Dr. Maximilian Findeisen (Dusseldorf) and Dr. Christian Mense (Munich)count among Germany's most renowned lawyers for corporate law. Frank Achilles and Bernd Pirpamer (both Munich) rank among the top renowned lawyers for employment and labour law.
The over 40 team members of the Corporate practice of Eversheds Sutherland in Germany advise national and international clients on all matters of corporate law. The practice supports in particular internationally operating groups in all questions relating to structuring and restructuring matters, joint ventures, enterprise agreements, spin-offs, mergers, shareholder and general meetings, group financing, articles of association and shareholder agreements as well as other corporate matters and the ongoing corporate maintenance.
Around 50 lawyers specialising in employment and labour law advise and represent national and international companies regarding all areas of collective and individual employment and labour law, restructuring measures or negotiations with trade unions and works councils, corporate pension schemes, working time regulations, employee data protection and also support them on an ongoing basis.
For the WirtschaftsWoche rankings issued annually, Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) interviewed more than 5,200 lawyers from 288 law firms. The final selection was made by an expert jury of representatives from companies and specialist media, including ABB, Knorr-Bremse, Osram, RWE, Telefónica, ThyssenKrupp and ZF Friedrichshafen. According to the jury's assessment, 39 law firms with 73 lawyers established themselves for corporate law and 69 law firms with 123 especially recommended lawyers for employment and labour law.
