Liz Fitsimons: We have real strength and depth in our team. We are a specialist, we don’t just dabble in this area, and our people are very committed to working closely with clients to really get them the best results in the way that suits the client best.
Paula Barrett: Our philosophy in relation to privacy and information law is to try and make what is an increasingly complex subject matter simpler. We do that through the depth of our knowledge but also pragmatism in how that knowledge is applied and an understanding of the commercial reality that our clients face. The other piece that distinguishes us is truly our international outlook. We have over 80 colleagues across the international world and in essence they are in place on the ground in country. That’s quite a significant point because clients not only need to understand the privacy laws per se but also the cultural expectations locally that come into play.
