JUVE Awards 2017 – Eversheds Sutherland has been nominated

  • Germany

    18-08-2017

The German M&A team of global legal practice Eversheds Sutherland has been nominated for “M&A Law Firm of the Year 2017” (Kanzlei des Jahres für M&A) by leading German legal publication JUVE, in its annual awards.

The JUVE Awards are the most important awards in the highly competitive German legal market and are based solely on surveys and interviews from the independent JUVE editorial team with law firms, clients (businesses and companies) as well as courts (judges), in 2017 representing more than 20,000 contacts.

Dr. Matthias Heisse, co-head of Eversheds Sutherland’s cross-border M&A team and Managing Partner Germany:

“We are delighted about this nomination as it reflects the positive development of our M&A business particularly in the last year. We have accompanied numerous high-value and complex M&A transactions on an international as well as national level – to which also our younger partners have made a considerable contribution.”

The German practice has about 30 lawyers specialized in Corporate/M&A, seven of whom are partners.

“The nomination also reflects the growth of our internal network as well as the cooperation across various practice groups and is thus a success to which all of the firm’s practices have contributed.”

The winners in 2017 set to be announced at the awards ceremony in Frankfurt on 26 October 2017.

Eversheds Sutherland is regularly selected by domestic and specialist press for the successful progress of the firm and the quality of its practice groups. Only recently, the firm has been selected winner in five categories at The M&A Advisor’s 2017 EMEA Corporate Development Awards, and has received the award for “Real Estate Team of the Year” at The Lawyer’s 2017 Awards.
