Three new Partners from Heisse Kursawe Eversheds' own ranks

    At the turn of the year, Heisse Kursawe Eversheds promoted three lawyers from its own ranks to partners: Alexandra Watzlawek, Dr. Dirk Monheim and Bernd Pirpamer. They have already been working for Heisse Kursawe Eversheds for several years.

    Alexandra Watzlawek (38) joined Heisse Kursawe Eversheds in 2004 and focuses on advising retail companies mainly with respect to commercial tenancy law, contract drafting and general civil law. Her clients include abele optik, Mahag and Neil Pryde. She also focuses on advising leasing companies, such as LeaseTrend AG.

    Dr. Dirk Monheim (41) joined Heisse Kursawe Eversheds in 2009 and mainly advises medium-sized companies (such as Acxiom and Amadeus Data) and a large number of executives on a regular basis. He is also active in the area of sports law. Dirk Monheim inter alia acts as an arbitrator in arbitration courts of central German sports associations and provides advice regarding transfers in professional football.

    Before joining Heisse Kursawe Eversheds in 2011, Bernd Pirpamer (44) had worked as an in-house lawyer for the associations of employers of the Bavarian metal and electronics industry for more than 10 years. He mainly advises his clients on complex disputes concerning works constitutions and collective agreements. In 2012, for example, he advised the Federal Association of the Security Industry (Bundesverband der Sicherheitswirtschaft) in injunction proceedings against ver.di in order to prevent token strikes at nuclear power plants. His clients include Knorr Bremse and ARRI.
