Eversheds Sutherland welcomes competition partner

    Eversheds Sutherland has recruited Peter Harper to expand the firm’s EU and competition team.

    Peter joins on the 6th February from Allen & Overy LLP and will be based in Eversheds Sutherland’s London office. He has extensive experience of EU and UK competition law from his 10 years at Allen & Overy where he worked in the firm’s London, Madrid and Brussels offices. He has advised clients in a broad range of sectors on high profile, complex and strategic global and UK-focused transactions and investigations.

    His experience includes giving advice on numerous investigations, market investigations and other regulatory inquiries. Peter has insight into the financial services sector where he has a long track record of advising on high profile competition issues and investigations including in relation to payment systems. He has also advised clients in the water sector on competition and regulatory matters.

    Peter also regularly advises clients on complex behavioural competition law issues as well as on compliance with competition law.
