Eversheds joins Crescent Purchasing Consortium

    The education team at law firm Eversheds has successfully been appointed to the Crescent Purchasing Consortium (“CPC”) Legal Services Framework.

    CPC is a procurement consortia, serving the further education sector, academies and similar educational establishments in obtaining better value for money for goods and services. CPC gives members access to EU tendered framework agreements. As part of this agreement, the Eversheds team, led by Diane Gilhooley, Head of Education at Eversheds, will provide full service legal advice to CPC clients in all areas of the UK and Channel Islands.

    Diane Gilhooley said:

    “We are delighted to have been appointed to the CPC Legal Services Framework. Education institutions require technically sound legal advice from lawyers who have a detailed understanding of the education sector in which they operate, especially as the sector is currently experiencing an intense period of change. We are pleased to be included as part of this consortium which focussed of adding value to clients.”

    The appointment further establishes the Eversheds Education Team as the leading advisor to the sector, following on from its recent ‘Deal Making Law Firm of the Year 2013’ award by the Education Investor, its ‘Legal 500 Public Sector Law Firm of the Year 2013’ award and its continuing Band 1 rankings in the Chambers and Legal 500 legal directories.
