Eversheds picks up Pension Law Firm of the Year award

  • United Kingdom

Global law firm Eversheds has been awarded Pension Law Firm of the Year at the 2013 Financial Times Pension and Investment Provider Awards.

Pensions Week's annual awards seek to recognise excellence in providers of products and services to UK occupational pensions schemes. The four key criteria used to adjudicate the awards are performance, innovation, service standards and competitive edge.

The award follows on swiftly from The UK Pensions Awards, where Eversheds was again awarded Pension Law Firm of the Year; recognising providers that offer the highest level of innovation, performance and service to occupational pension schemes and their members.

Eversheds Head of Pensions Francois Barker commented:

"This is an excellent achievement and a testament to the way we continue to set the standards at Eversheds. This award recognises the expertise of our people, the breadth, scope and quality of our client work and our contribution to the industry as a whole. We received particular praise for our contribution to industry bodies such as the Confederation of British Industry and the NAPF.

“Winning both of these prestigious awards is a real achievement and further underlines the reputation and profile of our pensions team. We believe that this is the first time that a law firm has won both these awards in the same year."
