Commenting as British Land Co., the U.K.’s second-largest real estate investment trust, announced the latest valuation of its properties, Bruce Dear, head of London real estate at Eversheds, says:

“London’s real estate market is a golden goose battling hostile headwinds: ill-timed taxes, a global slowdown and various political risks. While occupier demand and product scarcity are currently keeping it airborne, the market may struggle to fly through any further turbulence.”
