Eversheds comment: Goldilocks factors temporarily stabilising UK commercial property market
- Global
- United Kingdom
22-09-2016
With news that commercial property firms are dropping Brexit uncertainty clauses from valuation reports, Bruce Dear, head of London real estate at Eversheds, comments:
"Temporary Goldilocks factors are stabilising the market. Low sterling is luring investors, while minuscule interest rates are carrying consumer confidence. So, activity is back and valuers can value again. But beware! The Brexit negotiation bear-house is coming and the market will react if the talks go badly. Still, stay optimistic - Goldilocks ate the porridge and escaped the bears!"
