Our Experience

We pride ourselves in having represented or provided our clients with expert legal counselling in a number of significant media law transactions.  Our track record includes, among others, the following landmark transactions:

We advised a leading national film production and service company with respect to a TV series production and assisted with establishment of legal relationships with individuals and other parties directly and indirectly involved in the production and filming.

We routinely advise a leading national commercial television channel in connection with legal aspects of its broadcast productions and a wide array of intellectual property issues.
We assisted a famous Latvian author of song lyrics before a court of appeal in a co-authorship litigation involving unfair calculation of copyright remuneration and segregation of input by individual authors.

Our law firm provided instrumental advice to a major Chinese publishing and media group in connection with its acquisition of a printing house in Latvia.

We represented a major Latvian publishing house in a litigation involving claims of infringement of copyright by publishing protected articles and images on the Internet without consent by copyright holders.
