Congratulations to the winners of The National Competition of Legal Knowledge

    The National Competition of Legal Knowledge 2022 has finished. This year it attracted over 2,700 pupils from more than 120 schools all around Lithuania.  
    Congratulations to all participants and – especially – to the winners: Ignas Stankevičius (9-12 grades) and Ąžuolas Račinskas (5-8 grades). On 17th June at the awards ceremony, the participants were greeted by the Minister of Justice Ewelina Dobrowolska, the Chairwoman of the Constitutional Court Danutė Jočienė, Deputy Head of the European Commission Representative Office in Lithuania Agnė Kazlauskaitė, Dean of MRU Law School Prof. Dr. Lyra Jakulevičienė and Attorney at Eversheds Saladžius law firm Vainius Šarmavičius.   
    The National Competition of Legal Knowledge aims to develop legal awareness among young people by deepening their understanding of the rule of law, legal consciousness, and the principles of the operation of the State.
    The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania is the patron of this initiative. The event is supported by the Constitutional Court of Lithuania, the Lithuanian Bar Association, the European Commission Representation in Lithuania, and all the major legal institutions in Lithuania.
