Iwan Walters, Head of Clean Energy for MENA, commented that “The release of Round 3 is another extremely important step by REPDO in the overall clean energy program in KSA. Round 2 is progressing well and has a target of 1.5 GWs and there is a great deal of interest in Round 2. Now that the details of Round 3 have been released, there will be an additional 1.2 GW of clean energy in progress by REPDO. The REPDO projects are in addition to the other clean energy programmes being developed in KSA. The release of Round 3 also gives the market a clear signal that REPDO is firmly on its way to deliver its ambitious targets in KSA.”
