Reema is an associate in our corporate commercial practice, based in our Abu Dhabi office. She advises on commercial contracts in Abu Dhabi, and advises clients on UAE free zone laws and regulations. Reema also advises various clients on matters such as data protection and privacy regulations, tax, and insurance.

Reema joined us from Washington, D.C, where her previous experience included conducting due diligence for various transactional deals in the energy sector, negotiated and assisted in the preparation of contracts, including Operating Agreements, Purchase and Sale Agreements, and corporate bylaws for various clients. She also organized and managed 501 (c)(3) tax matters from corporation formation to IRS filing for multiple clients.

A selection of Reema’s experience includes:

 

  • advising on the deal team in the acquisition of a provider of teleneurology services to acute care hospitals
  • conducting due diligence for numerous deals in the acquisition of wind and solar farms
  • assisting in tax queries for clients looking to form corporations that are exempted under the Internal Revenue Service
  • leading the supervision of the translations of Arabic documents pertaining to a banking litigation case
