Richard is a Principal Associate in Eversheds Sutherland's Financial Services Disputes and Investigations group, specialising in litigation.
Chambers and Partners 2020 lists Richard as an "Associate to Watch", stating that "he has the technical knowledge, and he is very pleasant to work with" and "he is methodical and considered in his approach, and thorough in his communications".
Richard's litigation practice covers three key areas: pensions and trusts, banking, and data privacy. His cases include Buckinghamshire v Barnardo's (Supreme Court), Shannan v Viavi Solutions UK Limited (High Court and Court of Appeal), Steria v Sopra Steria (High Court), Blatchford v Blatchford (High Court), and the Bell Group litigation (High Court).
