Practice notes
Joseph is a construction lawyer with over 20 years experience, with a focus on contentious construction matters.
Joseph’s role involves assisting clients to avoid disputes, where possible, and get the best outcomes for clients where disputes cannot be avoided.
He has acted for all areas of the construction industry including central and local government, employers, contractors, sub-contractors, designers, banks and insurers. Joseph has advised on bespoke and standard form contracts, including NEC, JCT, IChemE, MF/1, FIDIC and ICE.
He is a trained mediator and has experience of adjudication, domestic and international arbitration, litigation, mediation and expert determination.
Joseph has a particular interest in and experience of the energy, infrastructure and water sectors including rail, highways, renewable energy, PFI, and process engineering.
In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors and playing the guitar.
