Practice notes

Martin is a Principal Associate in our corporate real estate team. He has experience in a wide range of real estate work including acquisition, disposals, asset management, landlord and tenant matters and the property aspects of corporate transactions acting on behalf of major corporate occupiers.

Martin has acted on many office lettings for his occupier clients including three major new build lettings in Cardiff, Croydon and Nottingham, several lettings in Central London and outside of London for a major utility and two office lettings in the Thames Valley for a pharmaceutical company.

Martin has acted for a major pharmaceutical company on the disposal of various redundant manufacturing and R&D sites throughout the country.

Martin is currently acting for a major corporate on the disposal of its former site to a local community group for a mixed-use redevelopment using one of the first Community Right to Build Orders.

Martin has worked with a major utility for over 10 years on various real estate matters including the acquisition, management, expansion and disposal of their thermal power stations, upstream gas assets, gas storage assets and the acquisition of sites for distributed generation projects. In particular, he acted on the disposal of a redundant power station and the disposal of two operational power stations.

Martin is currently acting for an offshore windfarm developer on the site assembly work for the onshore cable route. Martin also advises clients on agricultural tenancies and on the acquisition and disposal of agricultural land both for large corporate landowners and developers.
