Practice notes

Charlotte is an Associate in the Litigation group, specialising in contentious construction and engineering matters.

Charlotte advises on all aspects of construction litigation and has experience in alternative dispute resolution procedures including adjudication, arbitration and settlement negotiation, on behalf of employers and contractors. Charlotte also advises clients pre-emptively on dispute avoidance.

Charlotte is familiar with standard form construction contracts (including JCT, NEC3, FIDIC and ICC) as well as bespoke contracts.

Her recent experiences include advising on payment disputes and final account payment, defects liability, delay and prolongation claims, and Bond claims and contract termination following contractor insolvency.

Charlotte advises a broad range of client, and is frequently involved in matters regarding issues of fact and complex contract interpretation.
