Justīne is Banking and Finance practice counsel with a particular focus on Capital markets deals. As part of our banking and finance practice group, Justine has experience in licensing and regulatory matters, banking and finance transactions, including corporate financing and lending. Justine has acted in projects related to development and implementation of a personnel option plan in companies, various types of bond project transactions (convertible, covered, unsecured bonds), as well as general issues related to the eligibility and licensing of financial services.

As part of our M&A and Corporate team, Justine has assisted the team in cross-border corporate transactions, rendering of commercial contracts as well as full scope due diligence projects with a particular focus on financial services regulations and transactions, including from English law perspective.

Justine holds master of laws in international banking and finance law from University College London (LLM). Since 2020, Justīne is a member of the Latvian Bar Association being Assistant Attorney at Law to Attorney at Law Māris Vainovskis.

Justine’s recent experience includes:

• Support for capital market issues for listed companies, including the organization and provision of a semi-remote shareholders' meeting, the development and implementation of a staff option plan and the implementation of option-share conversion;
• International business reorganization (division) for one of the leading global security - collection services companies, including compliance and licensing issues;
• Project management of capital market state support instrument applications;
• Day-to-day legal support in corporate matters and transactions for international and local companies.
