Practice notes

Christof Lamberts is a partner in the Munich office of Eversheds Sutherland and a member of the Corporate/M&A practice.

He specializes in complex cross-border M&A and joint venture transactions as well as corporate venture and private equity deals. Business-oriented, clear and comprehensive advice and stringent project management are key to his approach.

Having studied mechanical engineering prior to entering the legal profession, Christof’s legal and M&A expertise is accompanied by an understanding of the technical aspects of many of his clients’ businesses. He also has extensive experience in distribution law.

Besides his strong focus on large US clients, Christof is a member of Eversheds Sutherland Nordic/Baltic Group.

Christof’s recent experience includes advising:

  • CyrusOne in the acquisition six large data centers in Frankfurt and London from Zenium
  • WestRock in its disposal of the home, health and beauty division to Silgan and the acquisition of Multi Packaging Solutions International Limited
  • Teacher Retirement System of Texas in the acquisition of KBC Deutschland AG from Belgium‘s KBC Bank and the subsequent acquisitions of Bankhaus Neelmeyer and Oldenburgische Landesbank
  • Starbucks in the sale of its German business to AmRest
  • Airbus Defence & Space in the carve-out and disposal of its commercial satellite business
  • 3M in various corporate venture deals and M&A transactions
  • Parker Hannifin in various cross-border acquisitions including post-merger integration
