Liam Thomas is a Principal Associate in our Real Estate Practice Group specialising in development matters.

He has experience in a range of commercial property matters, including development, acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, general estate management issues, corporate support transactions and real estate finance matters.

Liam acts for a variety of developers, corporate occupiers and private investors across a broad range of sectors including healthcare, retail, education and real estate sectors.

His recent experience includes:

  • acting for a large national care home operator on the acquisition, development and financing of multiple care home development sites each for circa £10-15m, including managing input from construction, planning, environmental and litigation teams, and managing requirements of third party lenders, with a total development value in excess of £200m;
  • acting for a developer on the development agreement underpinning delivery of a 100 acre 1m sq ft logistics and employment development;
  • advising a developer on the £200m mixed use city centre scheme; and
  • advising a developer on an Option Agreement in respect of 70 hectares of strategic development land.
