Simon is an international M&A partner in our corporate group. He is based in our London office and works closely with our teams in France, Spain and Italy. He is a member of the board that manages the Eversheds Sutherland Latin American Alliance and he works with clients in this region, particularly Brazil. He also works with our teams in the U.S. assisting clients with business interests in Europe.

Simon specialises in advising on substantial international corporate finance transactions including initial public offerings, fundraisings, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructurings. He typically represents major corporates, both public and private. He has particular experience in the aviation sector advising both airlines and airports, the packaging sector and also the healthcare sector where he advises several of the largest care home providers in the UK. Simon's clients are typically headquartered in Europe or the U.S. with operations around the world.

Simon's recent experience includes advising a US NYSE listed corporate on a $1.025bn cross-border disposal, a UK listed target on its £160m takeover by a Chinese company, a US multinational on its $2.28bn acquisition of an international group, a fully listed UK corporate on an £87m acquisition and a separate class 1 disposal, various targets in respect of IPO’s on the London stock Exchange Main Market and also on AIM and various other market fundraisings. He has just completed two major multi-jurisdiction acquisitions for separate French clients, one listed on the Paris Bourse and the other PE backed.
