Chetan is an associate in our construction and engineering team specialising in transactional construction work and project advisory services for a range of private sector clients. Chetan has experience working across a breadth of sectors including real estate development, technology, clean energy and built environment.

He advises on all construction issues from inception of projects through to project delivery and post-completion, including in relation to procurement and preparation of the full range of construction documentation, including bespoke and industry standard forms of building contract, professional appointments and ancillary documents.

His recent experience includes:

  • advising an asset management company on the on the preparation and negotiation of EPC agreements for 3 new battery storage projects in the UK and on the supply agreements for the purchase of 200MWh battery energy storage systems
  • advising a fund on the drafting and negotiation of O&M agreements for 6 battery storage projects in the UK
  • advising an investment management business on the preparation of a template solar EPC agreement for use on future projects
  • advising a middle eastern investor on the procurement and delivery of maintenance, refurbishment and development projects as part of its £6bn high-end mixed-use property portfolio in the West End
  • advising a leading developer on the development financing and construction procurement of a flagship mixed-use residential, commercial and retail development scheme in central London
  • advising a major global tech firm on their expansion and fit-out of office and tech hubs across EMEA and Africa
  • advising a global accounting firm on the procurement, preparation and negotiation of the building contracts and professional appointments for the refurbishment of their offices across the UK
