Practice notes

Delphine is a practicing barrister and handles a range of civil and commercial transactions focused on the banking sector and labour sector. She has experience in drafting, advising and negotiating various commercial agreements including service provider agreements, employment agreements, share purchase agreements and commercial leases. She often appears together with her seniors as junior counsel in legal proceedings and has also chaired disciplinary committees.

Delphine was admitted in January 2017 as a barrister in Mauritius and holds a BA with a major in finance, from York University, Canada and an LLB and LLM from City University of London, UK.

Prior to completing her pupillage with renowned Chambers in Mauritius, Delphine has marshalled with a Judge from Her Majesty's High Court of Justice in England (Queen’s Bench Division) and undertook mini-pupillages at Stone Chambers (London) and Quadrant Chambers (London).

She has a keen interest in banking & finance, international trade, and maritime law, and is is fluent in English and French.
