Zelma is a lawyer and works in the Litigation practice group.

Zelma has gained experience in disputes related to recovery of funds, contesting of agreements, shareholders’ rights to information, mandatory bids and squeeze-outs. Zelma also assists the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group by researching specific issues of procedural law, including the possibilities to secure claims contesting agreements and state fees applicable to such claims, as well as collecting of evidence abroad.

Zelma has also gained experience in administrative proceedings and the courts, including a number of proceedings with the Financial and Capital Market Commission.

Zelma has participated in the preparation of pleadings for the proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union and in proceedings before the Constitutional Court.

Zelma graduated the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia has the professional Master's degree in Law and qualification as a lawyer.
