Andreas Schenk is an Associate in the Real Estate practice group at Eversheds Sutherland in Munich.
He advises leading national and international companies, project developers, asset managers and real estate companies on all aspects of real estate law, in particular in the area of commercial tenancy law. His activities cover the structuring and negotiation of commercial lease agreements, both for landlords and tenants, as well as ongoing legal support within the framework of asset management. He furthermore advises on complex real estate and corporate transactions.
Andreas studied law at the University of Regensburg. Following his first state examination, he did his professional training at Nuremberg Higher Regional Court and the Regional Courts of Regensburg and Amberg in 2016. Andreas successfully passed his second state examination in May 2018. Before joining Eversheds Sutherland, Andreas worked as a section head at the tax office of Amberg since May 2019.
His recent experience includes:
- Advising a project developer on the revitalisation, development, re-leasing and sale of a large office complex (the deal volume: EUR 300 million+)
- Advising a logistics company on the customised project development of numerous office buildings
- Advising an international insurance company with respect to the letting of a large number of offices and mixed-use properties and new development of existing real estate
- Advising an industrial company on the sale of an industrial plant
- Advising various operators of shopping and factory outlet centres within the framework of the regular asset management
- Advising various international retailers (especially from the luxury goods sector) in connection with the leasing of high street flagship stores and in the area of asset management
- Developing and advising on the market entry of an international last mile logistics company in Germany. The legal support in particular included negotiating a plethora of urban lease agreements
- Advising an international e-commerce and logistics company on the drafting and negotiation of commercial lease agreements and addenda
- Advising a large number of clients with respect to dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic
